The world golf spotlight has been on Australia the past
three weeks so how did we fare in the world's eyes? This week we catch up with respected US blogger and course
critic Geoff Shackelford who made the long trip from California to Australia to sample some of
the golf on offer as well as take in The Presidents Cup and Ausralian Open. Geoff explains why he was
disappointed with the sand belt as well as what America can learn from how we do golf in Australia professional

So the Presdent's Cup is run and won and it was undoubtedly a huge success but what now for
Australian professional golf? There's no question the game was struggling before the event at Royal
Melbourne and the danger is we return to exactly that scenario unless those charged with running professional
tournaments can cash in on the past two weeks. Golf Australia magazine edior Brendan James joins us today
to outline a couple of possible solutions to losing the ground we've made in the last
